SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers towards the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it is alarmed in regards to the large range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. The assistance issue produced for intervention experiences a high inflow of potential beneficiaries, that makes it challenging with the Workplace to SRD attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to help the servicing of all shoppers and maximize entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
